Under
the leadership of Pastor Fred Ssempijja, Kamuli Church, which started in 1993,
has planted 12 other churches. Church Ministries Orphans
and less privileged children Over
60 children mainly orphans are directly benefiting through education and
scholastic requirements in their various schools. Many other children have also
benefited from one-time gifts from this organization. Women MinistryAbout
20 women groups mainly widows, have trained with our church into new skills so
that we can now support a lot more orphans indirectly.
We hold women conferences and seminars whole over the district.
Some of the widows in the church
Most of them have grandchildren orphans due to HIV/AIDS. These widows wish to be supported in Income generating activities like swine (Piggery) keeping, poultry, sowing machine project and many others so that they can be self supportive in their families. Youth MinistryA
school out reach ministry called (SOM) was started. The youth are reached
through Drama, Music and sharing the word of God. We aim at reaching a hundred
schools every year. HIV/AIDS
Ministry
The
HIV/AIDS department is reaching out to various districts, especially in schools
and the local communities. Meeting health challenges related to HIV/AIDS effects
especially the rural people is our puzzle.
Over sixty (60) people living with HIV/AIDS have registered with us for
counseling and we would need to have a mobile clinic. Prison MinistryAfrica
Prisoners in Need (APIN), is a ministry we have and it goes in prisons. Many
prisoners have committed their lives to God through this ministry. Our prayer is
that we get Bibles and other necessities. Evangelism
We
hold crusades, move house to house, and minister in schools.
